Chafin Vet Loving Pet Care has completed construction of their state of the art veterinary hospital just north of the new Lunds & Byrelys on Pilot Knob and appropriately next door to the huge new HealthPartners clinic which is nearing completion. The ribbon cutting ceremony and tour was inspiring to a packed crowd of Chamber members, City representatives, and many involved in services, financing and construction of the hospital.
Apple Valley Chamber President Ed Kearney along with Apple Valley Mayor Clint Hooppaw made their official welcoming remarks before Owners Laurel and Michael Chafin (who are a husband and wife team) introduced the packed crowd to their staff, and services. Their brand new facility, together with the amount of experience they bring, is a real asset to the Apple Valley and surrounding communities.
After Laurel and Michael attended and met at the University of Oklahoma where both studied zoology, medical services and surgery, they both received their Veterinary Doctorates at Oklahoma State University. Today with nearly 17 years experience building a 5 Doctor veterinarian clinic in Dallas, they decided to relocate to Minnesota to raise their family as Dr. Laurel grew up in Eagan. Their two sons were part of both the groundbreaking last summer and the ribbon cutting this past week.
