Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, which serves primarily spicy chicken in “Louisiana New Orleans style” is well underway with construction in front of ALDI next to Arby’s on Cedar in Apple Valley. They had to begin the application and approval process all over a second time causing a long delay as after 1 year, plat property approvals lapse and must repeat from the start. The new Chase Bank is just to the north of the Popeye’s. They expect to open by mid March.
Popeye’s began in 1972 in Louisiana and today have over 2,700 locations.
