What a joy to see 5 south of the river Chambers continually partnering in so many ways.  The event was held at Valleywood Golf Course in Apple Valley (was Brackett’s last year) and was very well attended. A special thank you to all the companies who had trade show booths which really enhanced the event.

At the halfway point, Chamber President Ed introduced and welcomed Hastings Chamber President Kristy Barse (formerly was our Business Manager for 4 years), Jennifer Harmening President of Burnsville Chamber and Krista Jech President of Lakeville Chamber. He along with Chamber Board Chair Peggy Johnson gave praise to the power of such a strong regional Chambers partnership which only strengthened during the pandemic and continues to be stronger than ever. River Heights Chamber also partnered however they are currently searching for a new President. Even after the prizes ($700+ worth), it was obvious people were really enjoying the event as almost everyone stayed nearly to the very end.

All the Chambers thank Dakota Electric for being the main sponsor and spending $3000 for amazing food and other expenses. A very generous gift to our 5 Chambers business communities. It is especially noteworthy of true leadership to know our Apple Valley Chair PEGGY JOHNSON of Dakota Electric has been Chamber Chair of all 6 Chambers south of the river, an honor no one else has even come close to.

Las Tortillas catered the event and the food was spectacular. People were commenting on how delicious it was, even as they were walking out of the door to head home. And of course thank you to the staff at Valleywood who are always amazing to work with.

Working together as Chambers improves our members access to wider networking, access to other companies and city/county leaders, advocacy of common issues, a greater voice at the Capitol, gives members visibility, new connections and “back to basics” business of knowing that when multi-chambers business people get together, “business and partnerships happen.”
