Once more to a packed crowd of Chamber members, THINK BANK hosted another fantastic St. Patrick’s Day themed Chamber’s Business After Hours. THINK contracted with Crystal Lake Country Club for the catering and the Irish themed appetizers and desserts were amazing.
Think’s new PRESIDENT & CEO JENNY HOSFELD was in attendance from their headquarters in Rochester, and she was so pleased with both the community support they receive as well as the community and Chamber leadership her team here at THINK has achieved. In addition to naming so many associates on her team both in Apple Valley and regionally, she made a special tribute to Branch Manager Kiersten Lawson for so quickly achieving the leadership role of Vice-Chair of Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce. Isaac Cusick (Think Mortgage Advisor) works hard on several Chamber committees, Kim Kosmicki (Think Business Banker) is always manning Think’s “Candy Bar” at the Chamber golf tournaments, and Jake Hines (Think Business Advisor) is in attendance at all Chamber events despite working half the time in Edina.
Jenny also noted their structure as a Mutual Bank and therefore served and owned by their depositors and not stock shareholders. They began at IBM Credit Union in 1961 and changed from Credit Union to Mutual Bank in 2008 when our Chamber and City held their groundbreaking for the Apple Valley branch.
Chamber President also spoke after Jenny and Kiersten, noting their high profile sponsorship of so many Apple Valley events like the AVAF Summer Concert Series and Minnesota Zoo exhibits such as the acclaimed Dinosaur Trail tours and the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular. He stated THINK “Gives Day” where employees donate their 1,000 hours to places such as 360 Communities, Ronald McDonald House, Salvation Army and others. We THINK they will be hosting this popular event once again in 2024 at least they hinted due to such a great turnout. Everyone left with a very generous rubber oven mitt or for your outdoor grill or firepit. Amazing!
