JAY F. JEWELER, which has been a mainstay in Apple Valley for 35 years, is soon to close up as their lease was coming to an end and retirement is approaching. They contacted their frequent customers this last week for first offers on inventory closeouts.
We want to thank Jay F. Jeweler Owner Jay Feichtinger (pictured) for being such a community leader. Jay had served over a decade ago on Apple Valley Chamber’s Board of Directors. He has been exceptionally generous to the Chamber and hosted many Business After Hours events with his huge drive-up meat smoker that he uses while traveling the country to watch his favorite Minnesota Gophers Football. One year he even donated a $5,000 Lazar Diamond that was raffled off at our Chamber Gala (won by Kathy Maguire of Kwik Kopy). So much generosity and leadership over the years.
Jay was especially instrumental in assisting the Chamber and all businesses along Cedar in protecting business access which would have been severely hindered if the original “BRT Design” had been implemented. He has donated to many schools and non-profits besides the Chamber over the years in significant ways. A true community leader who will be missed but promises to still be around to enjoy more time with family, friends and hundreds of clients who became friends. These are friendships that will last as long as his diamonds. Thank you, Jay!
