RIBBON CUTTING AT SCHULER SHOES

What a fantastic turnout at yesterday’s ribbon cutting of SHULER’S SHOES IN APPLE VALLEY. We all thank everyone who attended from the Chamber and public as it made Mike Schuler feel so welcome saying what a friendly place Apple Valley is. After Chamber President Ed Kearney and Mayor Clint Hooppaw gave their welcoming comments, a huge crowd went outside to cut a melded giant SHOE LACE & mixed with the Chamber’s Red Ribbon symbolizing unity.

SCHULER’S Shoes began in Minneapolis in 1888 by Vincent Schuler who arrived from Austria. Today they have 10 stores and are in their 5th generation. Mike Schuler gave warm family remarks and appreciation for all their experienced staff over the years.  They are noted for being the oldest Shoe Store west of the Mississippi River.  They are as of yesterday, also the youngest with this NEW Apple Valley location. We think they will “fit nicely” into Apple Valley, are having a “Cinderella start” already being next to the new Lund’s & BYERLY’S.  Cinderella proves a new pair of shoes can change your life.

They even have on staff at locations professional board certified Pedorthists to help you keep the best balance, comfort and what is unique about your feet.  Everyone was impressed with their separate room just for up to 75% clearance. We were told they have over 15,000 shoes on hand. If you look at their website, it will tell you up to 100 brands, just how many are available at any of their 10 stores and can have any other pair to you within a day. “Clearly A STEP AHEAD.”
