PAHL’S MARKET CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
The 1st week of December, we showed you drawings of Pahl’s Market’s construction plans for a new retail center (below). Construction is now nearing completion as far as framing and enclosing the exterior (above). During construction, they have moved their former retail into the closest greenhouse.
THIS MEMORIAL WEEKEND, BE SURE TO GET YOUR GARDEN AND LAWN SUPPLIES from the experts at Pahl’s. Quality and expertise matter.
The Pahl family has been farming since the early 1900’s, first in the Bloomington bottom’s lowlands on the Minnesota River. Wayne and Joanne moved their operations to Apple Valley in 1979 when “one car a day would pass by”. Now that intersection has over 79,000 cars a day on Cedar and half as many on 160th their entrance. Siblings Gary and his sister Missy (Lynn) opened their current location in 1982. Brian soon joined and in 1995 they built their first permanent greenhouse here. They still farm 1,200 acres today. Gary and Jane’s son Jack, a U of M grad is 6th generation family farmer. We look forward to the completion of this fabulous new additional classy building.
