APPLE VALLEY CHAMBER AT THE CAPITOL
Last week, the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Day at the Capitol where Chambers from across the State go to St. Paul to hear about proposals on taxes, health care, workplace rules, the potential legalization of recreational marijuana, and the proposed paid family and medical leave mandate.
This year, Apple Valley Board Chair Peggy Johnson (Dakota Electric) and Past Board Chair Tasha Wells (Team Wells Realty) attended on behalf of the Apple Valley Chamber (Chamber President Ed Kearney was out of town at his daughters national color guard championship). They heard from from key legislators working on these issues and how they will impact Minnesota’s economy.
