3 NEW BUSINESSES COMING TO APPLE VALLEY IN FORMER PIZZA RANCH

Dan Peterson who owned Pizza Ranch and still owns the building as well as Crooked Pint next door, told us he has 3 new companies going into his former Pizza Ranch building.
The first is FACE FOUNDRIE, a franchise that was started by a St. Thomas graduate Michele Henry in 2019. She first owned Primp in St. Paul but after selling that, immediately set up an open concept salon in the Galleria in Edina. Today they have 44 locations throughout Minnesota and the entire US. They specialize in FACIALS, LASHES, SKINCARE & AND BROWS and make their own product lines. She found the gap between expensive all day medical spas and other spas that were of various concepts. She wants affordable and upscale services while making it available for “walk-ins” for busy people as she has three children of her own. Here is a write up of Michele from 2 years ago, a story of a local success > LINK TO ARTICLE
The second business is BASECAMP FITNESS, whose concept is from Self Esteem Brands, parent franchisor to ANYTIME FITNESS. It offers intense 35 minute workouts with the goal of burning 600 calories. When you think to yourself “another workout place?” remember that the US Health & Fitness Club Industry is $32.3 billion industry. 42% of the 62.5 million Americans who belong to a health club, are members of a BOUTIQUE Fitness Studio such as this. That format maintains the highest average per-month and per-visit price of any fitness format and they are locating in a fairly upscale area of growth in Apple Valley.
The third business is TO BE REVEALED. They cannot disclose the name or nature at this time but it is a national brand. We will keep you apprised when we find out more. It was going to be an orthodontist but it has since changed.
