COFFEE CONNECTION AT FRANDSEN BANK

What a FRANtastic and well attended event to kick off the feeling of Spring! There were lots of new faces in attendance and the conversations were happy and productive. FRANDSEN BANK on 160th had numerous prizes to start the day, endless amounts of Dunn Brothers (Lakeville) coffee and all kinds of breakfast items.
Frandsen Bank is a true “community bank” by definition. After High School, Dennis Frandsen I at the age of 19 began with creating his own log cutting business. He later tried to expand and was turned down by his bank in Luck, WI. He told them one day he would buy them. He started several very successful manufacturing companies and later went back and bought the very same bank that turned him down for his original loan. Today he has 40 bank locations. It was interesting that in two cities, he told all local high school students that he would pay their college tuition for the first two years at the colleges nearby. “Nobody does that” said Chamber President Ed Kearney at the Coffee Connection. We thank Frandsen Bank for hosting such a great event!
