Apple Valley Shopping Center Purchased

TIME SQUARE SHOPPING CENTER, a 50 year-old center on the corner of Cedar & 42 in Apple Valley recently sold after a few attempts in recent years had fallen apart. Purchased for $10.75 million by Osbidian Group, Endurus Capital and Mid-American Real Estate broker Mark Robinson, they plan to spend $2.5 million upgrading the center. Onyx Strategic Partners who will do the upgrade posted on their Facebook page how excited they are to oversee the transformation.
Obsidian Group who with their partners purchased the center said to Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal “this is a diamond in the rough, one of the best retail corridors in the metro area” (speaking about Apple Valley).
X-Golf is planning to put in a Golf Simulator and restaurant using 10,000 sq.ft. They have locations in Woodbury, Medina, Blaine and Champlin and are usually with 6 simulators (courses from around the world), a full bar and restaurant, lessons, leagues and private business events and sports team events. X-Golf has over 50 locations in the US. Chamber President Ed Kearney has twice been to meetings there in Woodbury with MN Chamber and said they are fun and lively and will be if finalized, “another fun thing to do in Apple Valley especially during the winter months.”
