APPLE VALLEY FORD TO DO MAJOR EXPANSION
The Apple Valley Ford dealership will be adding a new 20,800 sq.ft. building which will be their LINCOLN DEALERSHIP and service facilities (artist rendering above).
FIVE CURRENT BUILDINGS WILL BE TORN DOWN. Those building are currently between Apple Valley Ford and BMO Harris Bank (see photos below). We spoke with BMO Harris and they were excited about the improvements being planned and understand the destruction/construction phase.
The exit east bound off of County 42 is Gardenia Ave and is actually listed as a private road. That will be closed to keep continuity between the two dealerships. 151st however will remain open but will still discourage drive through traffic as it has since 1992 when the city and AV Ford agreed to the unique arrangement and needs of the time.
The site plan layout is dependent upon City approval of the requested vacation of rights-of-way where the City gives up rights of way. City Council will discuss the matter tonight for approval.
