Ribbon Cutting at Volofit

Our Business Community is “stronger” with our newest locally owned franchise, Volofit. Located in front of Wings on Cedar and 147th in the new center, local officials were on hand Saturday for their ribbon cutting. Welcoming speeches were given by Chamber President Ed Kearney and our new Mayor Clint Hooppaw. Chamber and City officials included City Administrator Tom Lawell, City Councilman John Bergman and Chamber Past Chairs Peggy Johnson and Jodi Kurtz. Jodi is also on the City Planning Commission.
Owned locally by Eric and Laura Black and managed by Gabby Scherle, they are different from any other place. Every single day they do a completely different routine in order to build the “total body experience” with all skill levels and nearly a dozen classes each day.
Be sure to look at their website or on Facebook. This is a complete workout of endurance, strength, power and agility. As a business person, be sure to stop by sometime and say welcome to them into our community and into our Chamber. As Chamber President Ed said there, “the only difference of where you are and where you want to be are the steps you haven’t taken yet.” Take that step to invest into your improved health.
