President of Dakota County Technical College & Inver Hills Community College Receives Prestigious Award
Michael Berndt (pictured) has been awarded the Paragon Award from the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He is one of 22 college Presidents to receive the award. These awards are given to new college presidents who have shown strong support of student success by recognizing academic achievement, leadership, and service among high-achieving students at their college. Recipients were nominated for the award by the students on their campus. More than 500 college presidents were eligible to receive this award. Phi Theta Kappa has been the official honor society for two-year colleges since 1929.
