Shop Local for Valentine’s Day
Your options are wide at FLOWERAMA, locally owned by the Schaefer’s (who will also deliver if you wish). From their wide array of options from roses, unique arrangements, Teddy Bear arrangements and even hundreds of boxes of Abdallah Chocolates.
One-stop shop for not just Valentine’s roses and arrangements but their unique wide array of Orchids is the plant that keeps on reminding of Valentine’s Day throughout the year. Their gift section includes not just Valentine’s gifts but that unique gift for yourself, your home and even a clothing section. BACHMAN’S are locally owned in the Twin Cities.
LET’S DISH (An idea for something different)
Deciding to not try and make a limited capacity restaurant reservation for Valentine’s? Make it a dinner prepared and cooking together with a meal from LET’S DISH located next to Target in downtown Apple Valley.
If you are lucky to get a reservation this weekend in restaurants who are limited to 50 percent capacity, enjoy the evening. Keep in mind there are many options beyond just the usual American menu sit down restaurants. Maybe enjoy a meal experience from a different cultural restaurant including Indian, Chinese, Sushi (Japan), Thailand, Mexican, Irish or Italian. Or maybe even have greater social distancing by making it a VALENTINE’S LUNCH and even in off hours of 2 or 3 p.m. Apple Valley in total has over 60 restaurants if you consider great “takeout” for the entire family for Valentine’s Day.
HOTELS IN APPLE VALLEY
Maybe get away from the family and home improvements by booking a night locally at either GrandStay Hotel or AmericInn in Apple Valley where you can just sit back and relax for a long deserved night with just the two of you. Warm up your feet in both hotels hot tubs or indoor pools.
Don’t forget the Hallmark Cards in front of Kohl’s on 42, Bachman’s and Flowerama cards instead of the grocery stores or big box this year.
