Annual Lakeview Bank Legacy Awards
Every year, Lakeview Bank honors members of the community who exhibit the bank’s core values: integrity, honesty, respect, service, attitude and professionalism. Each recipient is awarded $1,500 that they can use to further their education or contribute to a charitable organization of their choice. Lakeview Bank’s President & CEO TOM MORK is just a tireless champion of excellence, honesty and integrity in everything he does from running Lakeview Bank and to the numerous community causes he serves on. Never once has he promoted the bank at these almost historic annual Legacy Awards (since 2006) which he oversees but Tom so professionally honors each winner in an “interview format” that often leaves not a dry eye in the place.
HALIMA BADRI, a student at Apple Valley High School was a winner recognized by Lakeview’s Legacy Award for Apple Valley. She has the amazing honor of being named National Winner of both the State Speech and Debate Champion and also is the National Speech and Debate Champion. Add that to Halima finishing in 1st place in 17 speech tournaments as well as all the local recognition she has received from the City of Apple Valley for her volunteerism including Armful of Love, Crayons for Cancer and work at Fairview Ridges Pediatric, wow! She will be attending Harvard. Thank you to LAKEVIEW BANK for recognizing excellence amongst us. Apple Valley is very proud.
